Experience Peace of Mind with OASIS Ascent's Tailored Care for Your Daughter
One of the key benefits of choosing a residential facility for youth is the comprehensive approach to care. At OASIS Ascent, our adolescent residential treatment center focuses on addressing not only your daughter’s immediate crisis but also its underlying causes.
Here’s how OASIS Ascent provides safety and personalized care for your daughter:
- Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an effective form of therapy that can quickly help teens identify and change their negative thought patterns and behaviors. This type of therapy also provides practical coping strategies for managing thoughts and emotions during a mental health crisis. One of the great strengths of CBT is its ability to be customized to adapt to individual needs and situations. This means that no matter the specific challenges your daughter may be facing, CBT can be tailored to address her unique concerns and help her overcome her struggles. By utilizing CBT, teen girls can experience significant improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a proven method for helping girls learn practical techniques for managing intense emotions. It is particularly beneficial for reducing the risk of self-harm and suicidal thoughts, which are unfortunately common among today's teens. DBT equips teenage girls with the tools they need to improve their overall emotional regulation, allowing them to lead healthier and happier lives. With DBT, your daughter can learn how to effectively cope with difficult emotions and situations, leading to a more positive and fulfilling future.
- Recreational therapy is a valuable tool in promoting emotional and physical well-being through enjoyable activities. This approach is particularly beneficial for teenage girls who may struggle with verbalizing their struggles. By engaging in recreational therapy, your daughter will learn valuable resilience and coping skills in a fun and challenging setting. This alternative approach offers a refreshing change from traditional talk therapy and can be highly effective in helping your daughter overcome obstacles and improve her overall mental health. By incorporating challenging activities into therapy, recreational therapy helps teenage girls develop important coping skills while also promoting a sense of fulfillment.
- Psychoeducation is a powerful tool for empowering teenagers to take control of their mental health journey. By providing practical techniques for managing crises and encouraging a sense of personal responsibility for her own mental health and well-being, psychoeducation equips your daughter with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate her mental health challenges. This approach not only empowers her to take an active role in her own well-being but also fosters a sense of independence and self-sufficiency. By educating teenage girls about their mental health and giving them the tools to manage it, we are setting them up for a lifetime of success and resilience.
At OASIS Ascent, we have seen firsthand the transformative power of residential treatment for girls. We have witnessed countless success stories and are confident in our ability to help your daughter find healing and hope.
At discharge, 93% of parents reported having seen positive changes in their child's problems compared to their initial entry.
